The Ruscombe Mansion Community Health Center is a multi-purpose neighborhood community center featuring programs in holistic healing, education and inspirational guidance. Founded by Dr. Zohara in 1984, its purpose is to educate and enhance community and individual wellness through educational programs and the holistic healing arts.
Over two dozen certified, licensed holistic professionals provide an integrative approach to health care at Ruscombe. The goal is to address the unique needs of each individual by focusing on the whole person, not simply the physical malady or symptom of disease. When working with an adult or child, all aspects of the person - the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual - are considered for the achievement and maintenance of optimal health. Specializing in preventive medicine and health maintenance, as well as caring for the acute and chronically ill, practitioners at Ruscombe combine ancient and modern diagnostic and therapeutic systems to support the natural healing process within the individual. Emphasis is always on the use of non-toxic and non-invasive procedures.
Before its official founding, Ruscombe provided a home to Savitria (“House of the Sun”), a community of young Baltimorean truth-seekers, bonded by their interest in the esoteric tradition and consciousness-raising. It was also in Ruscombe that Dr. Bob establed the AUM Esoteric Study Center. In 1970, the State of Maryland Department of Education granted AUM accreditation, making it the only esoteric study center in the United States to give State-approved certificates in Religious Metaphysics, Occult Sciences and the Mystical arts.
The Ruscombe Mansion Community Health Center is conveniently located off Interstate 83 just five miles north of downtown Baltimore.
